A representative from Delta Faucet responded to our questions with the email copied below. COLCO applauds Delta Faucet's position on the Georgie Awards but we question the firm's continued support of the CHBA-BC. Delta Faucet, along with Weiser Lock, hosted the CHBA-BC Presidents Dinner and Awards Night at the recent Housing Issues Conference. To Whom it may Concern: I received a copy of an email sent to Sara Picchioni questioning the support Delta Faucet is showing to the Georgie's. I would like to clarify the preception you have been given of this event. Delta Faucet Canada is not a sponsor of this event. Although we are involved in sponsoring another event around those days, we chose not to participate in the Georgies until the leaky condo issue which has caused so much discomfort, financial distress and has added unnecessary stress to many consumers' lives, is resolved.
